70% of 17 year-olds in foster care express a desire to go to college. Just 54% will finish high school, and only 2% will earn a college degree.

FosterClub helps young people learn to advocate for their own education, access scholarships and other resources, and understand the importance of education through peer mentors. Support the pursuit of higher education for foster youth.

FosterClub Supporters

Being placed in foster care can be a chaotic and anguishing experience for a child. Now, in the midst of their confusion, despair, fear, and isolation, young people in foster care have a lifeline: FosterClub. It’s a place to find answers to questions about the foster care system, connect to peers with the same kinds of experiences, gain motivation from success stories, cope with past trauma, learn how to advocate, and effect change to improve their own lives and the foster care system.
