Could I Be Another Mother's Daughter?
Agencies across the country want to get more teens adopted. When it was my choice, I wasn't sure.

"Wow, can they really be taking me to lunch and giving me authentic jewelry? I just met them a few weeks ago and they're giving me gifts for my birthday, which passed six months ago. What's going on?"...

Feedback on the article "Could I Be Another Mother's Daughter?"
I understand that many youth are okay with adoption! But, personally Im scared of adoption. I've been up for adoption since the age of 7,and I really never wanted to be adopted! Although, I never really had the chance to be adopted by a loving parent! For the first itme I was looked at for adoption and the lady didnt like me at all and she expressesd it to me and told me she was only in it for the money! At that time I realized that I didnt want to be adopted because how can I love someone who doesnt love me back! Although, if you already know this family and they love you and you love them, than I would go for it. Its really all up to the individual. But when I realized that the lady trying to adopt me didnt not care for me it broke my heart, that I was being rejected once again! So I decided not to go through with it and to go on my own path. Im not trying to make you not want to be adopted or not love your adoptive family but to think about what you want out of the realtionship and how it will affect you!
